Strathmere publishes a dinner capacity for each of its three wedding venues separately, which is more useful to a rental company than a single headline number. Our stock is bought in sets of 100, 60, 30, 20 and 12, so three room sizes means three different answers about how many sets fit and how much is left over. That arithmetic is below. The load-in checklist under it is empty for all three rooms, and until a crew has been in each of them it stays that way.

Three buildings means three sets of answers, not one. The row we would want first is the load-in door for the Lodge, because it is the room whose published capacity is largest and therefore the room most likely to want the seating chart panel that does not come apart. Ceiling clearance in the Farmhouse matters for the opposite reason: small heritage rooms are where the arch and the booths stop fitting.
Narrowest door on the load-in route
ConfirmingThe narrowest door between the tailgate and the room, not the front door. The champagne wall travels in 70 cm sections; the seating chart panel is 132 cm on its long edge and does not come apart.
Usable ceiling clearance where pieces stand
ConfirmingClearance over the spot a piece stands in, not the height of the peak. The 360 booth needs 2.7 m to swing its arm and the arch is 240 cm assembled.
Stairs, ramp or elevator on the route

Where the truck sits and how far the dolly run is

Independent circuits available for decor

Getting a truck to North Gower
North Gower is inside the City of Ottawa, south along the 416. It sits past the suburban ring our inner zone covers and we confirm the exact zone against the address when you book rather than assume it here. Three separate buildings on one property is also the case where a single delivery becomes three drops, and that is priced as crew minutes rather than as one stop.
What we would send to Strathmere
10 pieces, and the reason attached to each one is a fact about our warehouse rather than a claim about this building. Where our stock does not reach the guest count the venue advertises, it says so.
A 33 cm beaded rim charger in PVD gold stainless that sits under the dinner plate. Rents in sets of 100, which is ten tables of ten.
Gold Charger Plates (set of 100)
Sets of 100. The Lodge at the published 180 is 18 tables of ten, so two sets with 20 plates spare. The Garden House at 160 is two sets with 40 spare. The Farmhouse at 65 is one set and 35 spare. We own 200, so any one of those rooms is coverable and two of them on the same date is not.
Frosted acrylic blanks on small brushed stands, numbered in our own shop so a set can run 1 to 20 or carry your table names instead. Rents in sets of 20.
Table Numbers (set of 20)
Sets of 20. Eighteen tables in the Lodge is one set with two spare blanks, sixteen in the Garden House the same. Seven tables in the Farmhouse is still one set, because we do not split them.
Turned metal holders in three heights with a PVD gold finish, mixed across the set so they group well down the middle of a table. Rents in sets of 30.
Gold Taper Candle Holders (set of 30)
30 turned holders per set across three heights, which groups down the centre of a long table. Tapers themselves are excluded, and whether you can light them here is the flame policy row above, still empty.
Real wax shells with a flickering LED core and a remote for on, off and dim. Battery only, no charging base, which is the answer at any venue that bans open flame. Rents in sets of 60.
LED Pillar Candles (set of 60)
60 per set with three remotes, one remote covering up to 24 candles from about 8 m. In a room the size of the Lodge, plan the remote positions or you will be walking the floor at midnight.
Clear 30 cm cylinder hurricanes that enclose a flame, which is what most venues mean when they say candles have to be contained. Each takes a pillar candle or an LED pillar. Rents in sets of 12.
Glass Hurricanes (set of 12)
Twelve per set, 30 cm cylinders, flame enclosed. Two sets in stock covers 24 tables, which is more than any single room here at its published capacity.
20 cm clear glass cylinders that hold two or three stems each. Clusters of three or five down a long table do most of the work of a centrepiece. Rents in sets of 30.
Bud Vases (set of 30)
30 per set, clusters of three or five. At 18 tables you want two sets, and we hold enough for four.
A 60 by 90 cm panel on an easel for the entry, lettered in your wording in our own shop and stripped back to a blank after the event. Choose clear, frosted or mirror acrylic.
Welcome Sign
One panel, one easel, ten minutes, one person. With three buildings on a property this is the piece that tells 180 people which one is theirs.
A 90 by 120 cm panel on a weighted stand, printed with your full seating plan. We letter it locally after your final list is approved and strip it back to a blank afterwards.
Seating Chart Wall
130 cm of clear level floor and 40 minutes of two person setup. At the Farmhouse's 65 guests a chart wall is probably more sign than the room needs, and we would rather tell you that than sell it to you.
A slanted brushed metal lectern at signing height with a shelf underneath for pens and a small sign. It pairs with a book, the audio phone or a print station.
Guest Book Stand
Light enough to be a self-pickup item and small enough to sit in a farmhouse entry without eating the doorway.
Twelve battery powered LED wash fixtures that sit on the floor and throw colour up a wall or a curtain. The colour is set once before doors open and the set covers a typical ballroom.
Uplights (set of 12)
One set is twelve fixtures and we do not split it, because below six the wall reads patchy. Twelve is sized for a room the scale of the Lodge rather than the Farmhouse.
Questions we get about Strathmere
Which Strathmere room can you fully dress? +
Any one of the three, on chargers, at the capacities the venue publishes. Not two of them on the same date, because 200 chargers is everything we own and the Lodge alone at 180 guests takes 180 of them.
Is one delivery enough for three buildings? +
One trip, but three drops, and we price the crew minutes rather than pretending it is one stop. Tell us which rooms you are using when you book and the quote reflects it up front.
Do you know the load-in route to the Lodge? +
No. Every row of the operational checklist above is empty for all three buildings. If you have toured the property, the door widths and the unload distances are the two answers that would change our quote most.
