Saunders Farm publishes capacities for two spaces: 240 for dinner and dancing in the Pavilion, and 65 in the CiderHouse. The 240 is the only published number in this whole set that runs past what we hold in the warehouse, and rather than bury that we have made it the first recommendation on the page. Everything about the buildings themselves, the doors, the power and the flame rules, is unconfirmed and shown as such.

The parking and unload row is the one to answer first. A 100 acre working farm that also runs public seasonal events is a place where the gate we are sent to and the distance from it are not guessable, and both are pure crew minutes. After that, the Pavilion's circuit count, because 240 guests is the scale at which somebody wants a photo booth and a booth needs a circuit that catering is not on.
Narrowest door on the load-in route

Usable ceiling clearance where pieces stand

Getting a truck to Munster
Munster is in the City of Ottawa's rural west, out past Stittsville. We confirm the zone against the exact address at booking rather than guess it here. A 100 acre farm that runs public seasonal events is also a place where our Friday delivery slot may be competing with somebody else's, which is a scheduling conversation we would rather have three weeks out than on the day.
What we would send to Saunders Farm
10 pieces, and the reason attached to each one is a fact about our warehouse rather than a claim about this building. Where our stock does not reach the guest count the venue advertises, it says so.
A 33 cm beaded rim charger in PVD gold stainless that sits under the dinner plate. Rents in sets of 100, which is ten tables of ten.

Here is the honest one. The Pavilion number the farm publishes is 240 for dinner. That is 24 tables of ten and 240 chargers. We own 200. At a full Pavilion we cannot cover every seat, and we would rather you read that here than hear it at the loading door.
Frosted acrylic blanks on small brushed stands, numbered in our own shop so a set can run 1 to 20 or carry your table names instead. Rents in sets of 20.
Table Numbers (set of 20)
24 tables needs two sets of 20, which is 40 blanks, which is exactly what we own. It fits, with nothing spare and nothing left for anyone else that weekend.
Real wax shells with a flickering LED core and a remote for on, off and dim. Battery only, no charging base, which is the answer at any venue that bans open flame. Rents in sets of 60.
LED Pillar Candles (set of 60)
Two sets is 120 candles across 24 tables, five per table. That is the whole LED stock and it is a comfortable look at that spread.
Clear 30 cm cylinder hurricanes that enclose a flame, which is what most venues mean when they say candles have to be contained. Each takes a pillar candle or an LED pillar. Rents in sets of 12.
Glass Hurricanes (set of 12)
Two sets is 24 cylinders, one per table at the Pavilion's published count. Convenient arithmetic, and it is the ceiling rather than a starting point.
A 60 by 90 cm panel on an easel for the entry, lettered in your wording in our own shop and stripped back to a blank after the event. Choose clear, frosted or mirror acrylic.
Welcome Sign
One panel and one easel for the entry. At the CiderHouse's 65 guests this plus table numbers is genuinely most of what a room that size needs.
A 90 by 120 cm panel on a weighted stand, printed with your full seating plan. We letter it locally after your final list is approved and strip it back to a blank afterwards.
Seating Chart Wall
Two hundred and forty people arriving at one door is the exact situation a printed chart exists for. Final list seven days out, and after approval a change is a new panel at cost.
A round topped metal arch in matte black or brushed gold for the ceremony. It ships and stores flat, then pins together on site in four sections without tools.
Wedding Arch
Stakes into grass, which a farm has plenty of, and does not go up above 30 km/h wind, which an open field sometimes has too. We own two.
A pair of tapered metal pillars dressed with silk blooms in ivory, blush and sage. They flank an aisle, a head table or a sign without booking a florist.
Flower Pillars (pair)
Silk on weighted bases. The bases mark soft ground, so on wet grass we will suggest a different position rather than leave two rings behind.
Twelve battery powered LED wash fixtures that sit on the floor and throw colour up a wall or a curtain. The colour is set once before doors open and the set covers a typical ballroom.
Uplights (set of 12)
Twelve battery fixtures. No venue outlet, no rigging, no question about the Pavilion's circuit count, which is an empty row above.
A two tier brass and glass cart on locking casters for a welcome drink or a late night station. Made to order until enough couples ask for it to justify holding one.
Bar Cart
A small piece for a corner rather than a room dresser. Worth pairing with the CiderHouse's 65 rather than the Pavilion's 240.
Questions we get about Saunders Farm
Can you cover a full 240 person Pavilion dinner? +
Not on chargers. We own 200 and 240 seats needs 240. Table numbers, LED candles and hurricanes all reach 24 tables, but they do it using every unit we hold. If your count is at the top of the room, book early and book the chargers first.
What is different about the CiderHouse? +
The published capacity is 65, which is around seven tables of nine or ten. That is one set of chargers with plenty spare, one set of table numbers, and a room where a full chart wall is more sign than you need.
Do you know where the truck parks? +
No. Parking and unload distance is an empty row above and it is the row that moves our price most on a rural property. One delivery here fills it in permanently.
