Why a Saturday wedding books four days
A rental is not a moment, it is a span. For a Saturday event the item leaves the warehouse Friday, is on site Saturday, comes back Sunday, and is cleaned and checked Monday. All four days are held on the calendar, which is why an item can show as unavailable on a date you were not planning to use it.
Crew capacity, published
One truck and a small crew means a finite number of jobs per day. When a day is full the storefront refuses the booking rather than taking money we cannot deliver on. Thursday and Friday are set deliberately high because that is when Saturday weddings get delivered.
| Day | Crew minutes | Delivery stops |
|---|---|---|
| Thursday | 600 | 6 |
| Friday | 660 | 6 |
| Saturday | 660 | 6 |
| Sunday | 600 | 6 |
| Monday | 360 | 4 |
Self-pickup
Free, and it saves the delivery fee outright. Pick up Thursday 16:00 to 19:00 or Friday 09:00 to 12:00; return Monday 09:00 to 12:00 or Tuesday 16:00 to 19:00. Items that need our crew are not offered for self-pickup, which is enforced server-side and not just hidden in the interface.
Damage waiver instead of a deposit
An 8% waiver, minimum $25 and capped at $250, covers accidental damage up to $500 per item and $1,500 per order. It replaces a security deposit for almost every order. Card authorization holds expire in about seven days, so a hold placed when you book eight months out would be worthless. On the small number of high-value items that still need one, the hold is placed two days before delivery, not at booking.
