Where we deliver, and what it costs to your town

Delivery is a flat rate by zone, and a zone is a band of drive time out from the studio rather than a map of municipalities. That is why two towns with an Ottawa address can be priced differently, and why four towns in four directions can be priced the same. Every number below is read from the same zone table the checkout quotes from.

Fees are shown before tax, and the Ontario towns carry HST. The van rate covers the whole job, out and back: we deliver, set up where the piece needs setting up, and come back for it. The courier column is the metered rate for the small parcel tier only, and it applies to the pieces light and sturdy enough to travel that way.

The Gatineau row is the rate that run will carry when Quebec delivery opens, not a rate you can book today. The reason is set out below.

One town is not on the zone map

Smiths Falls

No zone in our delivery table names it, which means we have no published fee, no published order minimum and no published drive time for it. Rather than borrow the regional numbers and hope, we have left it off the zone map and we quote it directly.

We could have given it a page, borrowed the nearest zone's numbers and called it service. A published fee we have not actually costed is a quote we might not honour, so it does not get one. Ask us and we will price the run.

Quebec is a separate question

Gatineau sits in Quebec, and delivering rented goods across the river is a Quebec supply: GST and QST rather than Ontario HST, Quebec consumer protection rules, and a QST registration we do not yet hold. Until that registration is in place we are not taking Quebec delivery bookings. Self pickup from the studio is unaffected.

Self pickup, from anywhere on this list

Collecting the order yourself costs nothing and carries no order minimum at all, and the missing minimum matters more than the missing fee. Out in the furthest band the van will not come out below $250 of rental, so on a small order there, pickup is not the frugal choice, it is the only one. Pieces that need our crew are never offered for pickup, and that is enforced in the booking engine rather than hidden in the interface.
